Perinatal Mental Health Certificate

Our Perinatal Mental Health Certificate doesn't just enhance your résumé—it empowers you to be a lifeline to families during their most vulnerable moments. Counselors, marriage and family therapists, nurses, and allied health professionals have worked together in cross-disciplinary collaboration. This one-year certificate offers online and synchronous classes to meet you where you are.

This certificate is supported by PMH-C prepared counseling faculty, nursing faculty, and community partner lecturers from a wide range of health disciplines.

Certificate in Trauma Counseling

The Post-Master’s Certificate in Trauma Counseling is designed to provide convenient, high-quality, specialized training for mental health providers who want to specialize in working with trauma survivors and those actively experiencing trauma. The certificate program is offered primarily through online courses and will enable clinicians to understand better-specialized issues, current treatment trends, and advocacy efforts, enhance communication with and effectively support persons experiencing trauma. The certificate program is open to those with a graduate degree in an allied mental health profession. All courses are consistent with CACREP accreditation requirements. 

Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

This Post-Master’s Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) is open to those who already hold a master’s degree in Counseling yet do not meet the current educational requirements for licensure as a clinical mental health counselor or licensed professional counselor in their state. This certificate allows counselors with specializations in other areas (e.g., school, career, vocational rehabilitation counseling) to gain the additional specialized academic courses currently required for professional counseling licensure. The certificate is 9-15 credits, depending on the number of courses you need for licensure.

MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Online)

Antioch’s CACREP-accredited Master’s in Counseling program accepts students from all undergraduate degrees looking to learn how to make a positive impact on those who need help the most. The program prepares you to work as a professional counselor to promote mental health, well-being, and social justice for a diverse, multicultural, and global community.

The Online delivery of our Clinical Mental Health Counseling includes online courses, intensive face-to-face clinical learning (either virtual or in person), and experiential learning in fieldwork focused on the development of your professional identity. Our faculty encourages an active, thorough, and continued examination of your development in the role of a professional counselor.

Antioch’s MBA is designed as a series of 7-week online courses, taken one course at a time. It’s a demanding program – but work-life balance is important, and graduate school needs to fit into your life.

  • $12,000 President’s Doctoral Fellowship Scholarship - Beginning in Summer 2026, 24 students per year will be awarded fellowships of $12,000 that can be applied to any of Antioch University’s doctoral programs. 
  • Otterbein University’s Advantage Scholarship - Dependents of Blue Star Families Members are eligible for Otterbein University’s Advantage Scholarship, which includes up to $80,000 for tuition for undergraduate programs at Otterbein.
